The essence at the centre of VT's PDRN range, formulated for skin that has begun to lose bounce and clarity — the point at which skin no longer holds water the way it once did. It is a milky, single-step essence that does the work of both a hydrating layer and a treatment serum.
Its defining ingredient is PHYTO PDRN, VT's plant-derived polynucleotide sourced from Korean ginseng rather than salmon, which the brand states is present at 100,000 ppm. That sourcing is the practical difference in this range: it makes the essence vegan and removes the fish-derived origin some customers avoid. Alongside it, the Cerasome Complex Plus supplies five ceramides — NP, NS, AS, EOP and AP — the full set that reconstructs the skin's lipid barrier, which is what allows hydration to stay in the skin rather than evaporating across the day. Polyglucuronic acid acts as a film-forming humectant at the surface. Niacinamide addresses tone and dullness, while panthenol, squalane and allantoin keep the formula comfortable on stressed or reactive skin.
The texture is a smooth, slightly viscous milk that absorbs without tackiness and layers cleanly under cream and sunscreen. It is unscented.
Key ingredients
- PHYTO PDRN (100,000 ppm, per VT) — a vegan polynucleotide from Korean ginseng, used for elasticity and skin renewal in place of fish-derived PDRN.
- Cerasome Complex Plus (ceramides NP, NS, AS, EOP, AP) — the complete ceramide set, rebuilding the barrier that keeps water in the skin.
- Polyglucuronic acid — a humectant that forms a light moisture-holding film on the surface.
- Niacinamide — evens tone, supports the barrier and reduces dullness.
- Panthenol, allantoin and squalane — soothe, soften and keep the barrier work from feeling dry.
How to use
- Cleanse and apply toner.
- Dispense two to three pumps and press over face and neck; do not rub.
- Let it absorb, then layer a serum or cream on top.
- In the morning, finish with sunscreen. In the evening it can follow a Reedle Shot step or precede a hydrogel mask.
Recommended frequency
- All skin types — twice daily, morning and evening.
- Dull or dehydrated skin — twice daily, applied in two thin layers rather than one thick one.
- Oily skin — once daily is sufficient, though the texture is light enough for twice.
Hydration, softness and a smoother make-up finish are noticeable within days. Elasticity and fine lines respond slowly: allow eight to twelve weeks of consistent use.
Best suited to
All skin types, with the strongest case for dull, dehydrated or mature skin, and for anyone looking for a vegan alternative to fish-derived PDRN. The formula is unscented, so it also suits people who avoid fragrance. Very oily skin may prefer once-daily use.

Good to know
Unscented and vegan according to VT. It layers safely with most routines, including retinoids, though exfoliating acids are best kept to a separate step or evening. VT also suggests mixing a small amount into foundation as a hydrating primer. Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Patch test if your skin reacts easily to niacinamide.
