A leave-on chemical exfoliating mist for the body, built on the same three-acid system that made Some By Mi's 30 Days Miracle range one of the most recognised names in Korean acne care — reformulated for the back, chest, shoulders and arms, and delivered in a spray so you can actually reach them.
That last point is not a minor convenience. Back acne is one of the most common and least treated skin complaints in existence, for the straightforward reason that most people cannot properly apply a cream between their own shoulder blades. A fine mist solves the problem that has always made back treatment fail.
Three acids, three jobs
- AHA (citric acid) — water-soluble, works on the skin surface. Loosens the bonds between dead cells so they shed, improving rough texture and dullness.
- BHA (salicylic acid) — oil-soluble, and the reason this works on breakouts. Being oil-soluble it can travel down into the pore itself, clearing the sebum and debris that cause body acne rather than only working on top of it.
- PHA (gluconolactone) — a larger molecule that penetrates more slowly and therefore more gently, while also acting as a humectant. It is the reason a three-acid formula can be used on large areas of skin without being harsh.
Around the acids sits a genuinely well-considered supporting cast: niacinamide fourth on the list, zinc PCA for sebum control, tea tree for its antibacterial activity, the complete TECA centella complex for soothing, and a seventeen-amino-acid hydration blend. This is not a stripped-down body version of a face product — it is a properly formulated treatment in its own right.
Key ingredients
- Salicylic acid (BHA) — the core anti-acne active. Oil-soluble, anti-inflammatory, and able to work inside the pore.
- Gluconolactone (PHA) and citric acid (AHA) — surface exfoliation with a gentler profile than glycolic acid, suitable for the large skin areas involved.
- Niacinamide (vitamin B3) — fourth on the list. Regulates sebum, calms inflammation, evens tone and fades post-acne marks. Directly relevant to the dark spots left behind by back and chest breakouts.
- Zinc PCA — reduces sebum production and has antibacterial activity; a well-established anti-acne ingredient.
- Tea tree leaf extract — botanical antibacterial support against the bacteria involved in body acne.
- Full TECA centella complex — madecassoside, asiaticoside, madecassic acid and asiatic acid, all four declared. Calms the inflammation that both causes breakouts and leaves marks behind.
- Seventeen-amino-acid complex — glycine, proline, serine, taurine, arginine and others, rebuilding the skin's natural moisturising factor so exfoliated skin stays hydrated.
- Dimethyl sulfone (MSM) — soothing and skin-conditioning.
- Botanical extract blend — green tea, bamboo, cypress, pine, persimmon leaf, rosemary, moringa, linden and mugwort — antioxidant and calming support.
- Menthol and peppermint oil — responsible for the cooling sensation on application.
How to use
- Shower and cleanse the skin as normal, then dry thoroughly.
- Hold the bottle 15 to 20 cm from the skin and mist evenly over the affected areas — back, shoulders, chest, upper arms. For the back, spray over each shoulder and reach around; the mist format is designed for exactly this.
- Leave it on. Do not rinse. This is a leave-on treatment, not a wash-off product.
- Allow 1 to 2 minutes to absorb before dressing. The formula is lightweight and will not mark clothing once dry.
- Follow with a body moisturiser on dry areas if needed — although many people find the hydrating complex sufficient on its own.
Recommended frequency
- Standard use: once daily, in the evening after showering.
- New to acids, or sensitive skin: every other day for the first two weeks, then build to daily.
- Persistent or active body acne: once or twice daily, morning and evening. Do not exceed twice daily — over-exfoliating inflamed skin makes it worse.
- Keratosis pilaris on the upper arms: once daily, followed by a rich moisturiser.
- After exercise: shower and apply as soon as practical. Sweat trapped under clothing is one of the main drivers of back and chest breakouts.
- Do not apply immediately after shaving or waxing — wait at least 24 hours.
- Timeline: smoother texture within one to two weeks. Meaningful reduction in breakouts at 4 to 8 weeks. Fading of post-acne marks takes longer — 8 to 12 weeks — because pigmentation always does.
How it works alongside our Medicube Body Peel Shot
These two are complementary rather than competing, and using both is better than either alone.
- Medicube Body Peel Shot — a rinse-off enzymatic and gommage treatment, used twice weekly on dry skin before showering. It removes the accumulated dead-cell layer.
- This mist — a daily leave-on acid treatment applied after showering. It keeps pores clear and treats breakouts continuously.
Deep clear twice a week, maintain daily. That is the complete body-acne routine, and between them these two products cover it.
Best suited to
Back, chest and shoulder acne. Keratosis pilaris on the upper arms and thighs. Rough or bumpy body texture. Ingrown hairs. Post-acne marks on the body. Anyone who exercises frequently, wears occlusive workwear, or gets breakouts under backpack and bra straps.

Good to know
Exfoliating acids increase UV sensitivity. If you are treating your chest, shoulders or arms and those areas will be exposed, apply body sunscreen. Untreated sun exposure on freshly exfoliated skin causes exactly the dark marks the niacinamide is working to fade.
The formula contains menthol and peppermint oil, which produce a noticeable cooling sensation — this is normal, but it will sting on broken skin or freshly shaved areas. For body use only — not for the face. Avoid the eyes, mucous membranes and the genital area. Do not apply to broken, cut, sunburned or actively inflamed skin. Patch test on the inner forearm for 24 hours before first full use if your skin is sensitive. Do not use alongside other strong body exfoliants on the same day. Discontinue if persistent stinging, redness or peeling develops. Spray away from the face and avoid inhaling the mist. Store away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
