Four single-use hydrogel masks from SNP's Collagen Bounce Up line, each 28 g and supplied as an upper and a lower piece that together cover the face. Where a cotton sheet mask delivers a thin film of essence that evaporates within twenty minutes, a hydrogel is a matrix that softens against skin warmth and releases its actives slowly — which is what makes it suitable for a firming treatment rather than a purely hydrating one.

The line is built around collagen at several molecular weights, including a very low-molecular-weight fraction the brand specifies as 125 Da. Intact collagen is far too large to cross the stratum corneum and works only as a surface humectant, while smaller hydrolysed fragments hold water in the upper layers and behave as signalling peptides. That is paired with salmon-derived PDRN, a polynucleotide active widely used in Korean firming products for its water-binding and calming character, and with retinol. The gel is cool on application, does not drip, and replaces the serum step for that session.

Key ingredients

  • Multi-weight collagen, including a 125 Da fraction — larger fragments form a moisture-holding film; smaller ones act as humectants and peptide signals in the upper layers.
  • Salmon PDRN — a polynucleotide active used in Korean firming and recovery formulas for hydration and soothing.
  • Retinol — supports the appearance of fine lines and surface texture over repeated use.
  • Hydrogel matrix — the format itself: it seals the skin, slows evaporation and releases actives over a longer window than a cotton sheet.

How to use

  1. Cleanse and apply toner; skin should be slightly damp, not wet.
  2. Separate the mask from its backing film, place the upper piece across the forehead, then the lower piece over cheeks, nose and chin, smoothing out air pockets.
  3. Leave in place for the time stated on the sachet; the gel turns visibly more translucent as it releases its contents.
  4. Remove and pat in any remaining essence. Do not rinse. Follow with moisturiser to seal it in.

Recommended frequency

  • General maintenance — once or twice a week.
  • Before an event — the evening before, for a temporarily plumper, smoother surface.
  • Sensitive skin — once a week; the formula contains retinol.
  • Timeline — the plumping effect is visible immediately after removal and lasts around a day; lasting change requires repeated weekly use over several weeks alongside a consistent daily routine.

Best suited to

Normal, dry and mature skin, and anyone wanting a firming treatment step with no rinse-off. Because it contains retinol it is not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and those new to retinoids should introduce it slowly.

Good to know

Keep retinol and exfoliating acids apart: do not use an AHA, BHA or prescription retinoid on the same evening as this mask, and wear sunscreen the following morning. Store the sachets flat, away from heat and light, and use immediately once opened — a hydrogel dries out quickly in air. Avoid the immediate eye area and any broken or freshly exfoliated skin. As no full INCI is published online for this mask, anyone with a known cosmetic allergy should read the list printed on the sachet before use.
