A restorative daily shampoo developed for dry, brittle, colour-treated and heat-damaged hair. The formula pairs a concentrated blend of argan, rosehip and evening primrose oils with a mild amino acid–derived cleansing system, so the scalp is cleared of sebum, sweat and product build-up without stripping the lipid layer that keeps the hair shaft flexible. The result is hair that feels genuinely clean at the root while staying soft, weighted and smooth through the mid-lengths and ends.

Damaged hair is largely a structural problem: repeated bleaching, colouring and heat styling lift the cuticle and leave the cortex exposed, which is why the hair reads as rough, dull and prone to splitting. This shampoo is built around that reality. Rather than relying on harsh surfactants that clean quickly and dehydrate just as quickly, it uses a gentler cleansing base supported by humectants and conditioning agents that stay behind on the hair after rinsing, helping the cuticle lie flatter and reflect more light.

Key ingredients

• Argan oil — rich in oleic and linoleic fatty acids and vitamin E. Softens the hair shaft, improves slip and reduces the roughness associated with cuticle damage.
• Rosehip seed oil — a lightweight, fast-absorbing oil high in essential fatty acids. Adds conditioning without the heaviness that weighs fine hair down.
• Evening primrose oil — a source of gamma-linolenic acid, valued for its comforting effect on a dry, tight-feeling scalp.

• Panthenol-style humectant complex (PCA, betaine, sodium lactate) — draws and holds water within the hair fibre, improving suppleness and reducing static.
• Polyquaternium-10 — a conditioning film-former that deposits on the hair during rinsing to improve detangling and manageability.

How to use

1. Rinse hair thoroughly with lukewarm water for 30–60 seconds. Water that is too hot will lift the cuticle further and increase frizz.
2. Dispense a 10-cent to 50-cent sized amount into the palms, emulsify with a little water, and work the lather into the scalp — not the lengths — using the pads of the fingertips. Avoid nails.
3. Massage for 45–60 seconds. Allow the lather to run down the lengths as you rinse; this is sufficient to clean the hair itself.
4. Rinse until the water runs completely clear, then follow with the Argan Essential Deep Care Conditioner from mid-lengths to ends.

Recommended frequency

• Dry, damaged or colour-treated hair: 2 to 3 times per week. Over-washing is one of the most common causes of persistent dryness in this hair type.
• Normal hair or a scalp that oils moderately: 3 to 4 times per week.
• Oily scalp, daily exercise, or heavy styling product use: daily use is appropriate. The formula is mild enough for everyday cleansing.
• After swimming, or on wash days following heavy oil or mask treatments: a double cleanse — one short lather to break down build-up, one longer lather to clean — is recommended.

Best suited to

Dry, coarse, frizz-prone, bleached, colour-treated or heat-styled hair. Also appropriate for normal hair seeking a non-stripping daily cleanser. Fine hair should keep application strictly to the scalp to avoid a weighted-down finish.
