A rich, slip-heavy conditioning treatment formulated as the second half of the Argan Essential Deep Care routine. Where the shampoo cleans without stripping, this conditioner does the structural work: a cationic conditioning system bonds to the damaged, negatively charged areas of the hair shaft — precisely the sites left exposed by bleaching, colouring and heat styling — and seals them down. The cuticle lies flatter, the comb moves through without resistance, and the hair dries smoother and with visibly more light reflection.

Each tube carries 300 mg of argan kernel oil, supported by rosehip and evening primrose oils and a humectant complex that holds water inside the fibre rather than letting it evaporate off. The finish is nourished and weighted without feeling greasy or coated, which is what separates a treatment conditioner from a basic detangler.

Key ingredients

• Argan kernel oil (300 mg) — high in oleic and linoleic acids and vitamin E. Restores softness and pliability to hair that has become coarse and snap-prone.
• Behentrimonium chloride and behentrimonium methosulfate — the conditioning core of the formula. These cationic agents are attracted to damaged sections of the hair shaft and deposit there selectively, which is why the effect concentrates where the hair needs it most rather than sitting uniformly on top.
• Dimethicone and amodimethicone — smoothing silicones that flatten the cuticle, cut friction between strands and reduce breakage during combing and blow-drying.
• Cetearyl and cetyl alcohol — fatty alcohols, not drying alcohols. They provide the rich, creamy body and act as emollients.
• Glycerin, betaine and PCA — humectants that draw moisture into the hair fibre and help maintain suppleness between washes.
• Arginine and creatine — amino acid–derived actives that support the keratin structure of the hair.
• Rosehip and evening primrose oils — lightweight nourishing oils rich in essential fatty acids.
• Chamomile, rosemary, lavender and bergamot extracts — antioxidant and soothing botanicals.

How to use

1. After shampooing, squeeze excess water out of the hair. Applying conditioner to soaking-wet hair dilutes it and measurably reduces how much conditioning agent actually deposits.
2. Warm a coin-sized to walnut-sized amount between the palms, depending on hair length and density.
3. Apply from the mid-lengths to the ends only. Do not apply to the scalp — this formula is designed for the hair shaft, and root application will weigh hair down and can contribute to build-up.
4. Comb through with a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to distribute evenly, concentrating on the ends where damage is most concentrated.
5. Leave on for 1 to 3 minutes.
6. Rinse with lukewarm to cool water until the hair feels smooth but not slippery. A final cool rinse helps seal the cuticle.

Recommended frequency

• Standard use: every wash, immediately after the Argan Essential Deep Care Shampoo. Conditioner is not an optional step for damaged hair — it is where the repair-effect actually happens.
• Very dry, bleached or high-porosity hair: once or twice per week, extend the leave-on time to 5 to 10 minutes as an intensive mask treatment.
• Fine or low-porosity hair: every wash, but keep application to the last third of the hair and rinse after 1 minute to avoid a limp finish.
• Oily scalp: every wash is still appropriate, provided application stays strictly below the ears.

Best suited to

Dry, coarse, tangle-prone, bleached, colour-treated or heat-styled hair. Also well suited to long hair, where the ends are years older than the roots and require dedicated care. Fine hair can use this successfully with disciplined mid-length-to-ends application.

Good to know

This formula contains silicones. They are what deliver the immediate smoothing and slip, and they rinse out with normal shampooing — but if you follow a strictly silicone-free routine, this is the product in the range to be aware of.
