An intensive protein treatment for hair that has been structurally compromised by bleaching, colouring, perming or repeated heat styling. Hair is roughly 90 percent keratin protein, and every chemical service removes some of it. Once enough is gone the strand loses its elasticity — it stretches when wet and snaps rather than springing back. This treatment addresses exactly that failure point, using low-molecular-weight hydrolysed proteins small enough to travel into the cortex and reinforce the weakened internal structure from the inside.
The result is not a coating effect that washes away. Hair feels denser and more resilient between the fingers, holds a style better, and shows measurably less breakage during brushing and blow-drying. At 250 ml this is one of the best-value damage treatments in the range.
Key ingredients
- LPP hydrolysed protein complex — low-molecular-weight polypeptides, including hydrolysed rice protein. Their small size is the entire point: standard proteins sit on the surface, while LPP proteins are able to penetrate the cuticle and reinforce the cortex where the damage actually is.
- Amino acid complex — the individual building blocks of keratin, delivered to support the hair's own protein structure.
- Castor oil — a thick, ricinoleic-acid-rich oil that coats and softens, noticeably reducing frizz and flyaway.
- Argan, camellia, olive, avocado and jojoba oils — a layered emollient blend. Camellia and jojoba are lightweight and absorb quickly; olive and avocado are heavier and stay on the surface for lasting smoothness.
- Hyaluronic acid complex — binds water within the hair fibre, restoring bounce and movement to hair that has gone flat and lifeless.
- Pink Glam Complex (rose, tulip and hibiscus extracts) — botanical extracts contributing shine and light reflection.
- Lactic acid — helps bring the formula to a slightly acidic pH, which encourages the cuticle to close and lie flat after treatment.
How to use
- Shampoo as normal, then squeeze out excess water. The hair should be damp, not dripping — water dilutes the treatment and reduces how much protein actually deposits.
- Apply generously from the mid-lengths to the ends. Avoid the scalp.
- Massage through thoroughly and comb with a wide-tooth comb so every section is coated. Uneven application is the most common reason a protein treatment underdelivers.
- Leave on for 2 to 3 minutes for standard use, or 5 to 10 minutes for severely damaged hair.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Recommended frequency
- Bleached, highlighted or heavily processed hair: 2 to 3 times per week initially for the first two to three weeks, then reduce to once or twice weekly for maintenance.
- Colour-treated or heat-styled hair: once or twice per week.
- Normal hair with occasional damage: once per week, or once every two weeks.
- Immediately after a salon service: use for three consecutive washes following bleaching or perming, when the hair is at its most porous and most receptive.
Important: protein and moisture balance
Protein treatments are powerful, and more is not better. Overusing protein on hair that does not need it causes protein overload — the hair becomes stiff, straw-like, brittle and paradoxically more prone to snapping. If your hair starts to feel rigid or rough rather than soft and elastic, stop and switch to a purely moisturising mask for two to three weeks.
A simple test: take a wet strand and stretch it gently. If it stretches a long way and does not return, it needs protein. If it snaps immediately with no stretch, it needs moisture, not protein. Healthy hair stretches slightly and springs back. Alternating this treatment with a moisture-focused mask is the correct long-term approach for most people.
Best suited to
Bleached, highlighted, permed, relaxed, colour-treated and heat-damaged hair. Hair that feels limp, mushy or overly soft when wet, stretches without recovering, or breaks mid-strand rather than splitting at the ends. Not the right choice for hair that is undamaged and already coarse or wiry.

Good to know
This product is noticeably fragranced. The Violet Muguet scent is a signature of the brand and lingers in the hair after drying, which most customers consider a benefit — but if you are sensitive to fragrance or prefer unscented haircare, take note. For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and rinse with water if contact occurs. Discontinue use if irritation develops. Store away from direct sunlight and close the cap after use. Keep out of reach of children.
