A daily broad-spectrum sunscreen offering SPF 50+ and PA++++, the highest rating on the Asian UVA scale, in a 50 ml tube. It solves the practical reason people skip sunscreen: the texture is genuinely watery, absorbs without tack, and leaves no white cast.

The filter system is a modern European one. Bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine and methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol both cover UVB and UVA and are photostable, so they do not degrade quickly under sunlight the way older filters do. Diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate is a dedicated long-wave UVA absorber and earns the PA++++ rating; long-wave UVA is the wavelength most implicated in pigmentation and photoageing. Ethylhexyl triazone is a highly efficient UVB filter, and polysilicone-15 is a polymer filter improving the aesthetics of the system. None are mineral filters, which is exactly why there is no white cast — the trade-off is that the film needs 15 to 20 minutes to form.

Beyond protection it does real skincare work: niacinamide sits high on the ingredient list, and acetyl glutamine, sodium hyaluronate and saccharide isomerate hydrate across the day.

Key ingredients

  • Bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine and methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol — photostable broad-spectrum filters.
  • Diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate — long-wave UVA absorber, the filter behind the PA++++ rating.
  • Ethylhexyl triazone — efficient UVB filter, effective at low use levels, keeping the texture light.
  • Niacinamide — high in the formula; supports the barrier and works on tone.
  • Sedum sarmentosum extract — the namesake succulent, hydrating and soothing.
  • Acetyl glutamine, sodium hyaluronate and saccharide isomerate — humectants binding water at different depths.

How to use

  1. Apply as the final morning step, after moisturiser and before makeup.
  2. Use roughly two finger-lengths for face and neck; under-application is why sunscreens underperform their stated SPF.
  3. Include ears, eyelids, hairline and the back of the neck.
  4. Wait 15 to 20 minutes before sun exposure.
  5. Reapply every two hours outdoors, and after swimming or sweating.

Recommended frequency

  • All skin types — every morning, year-round, including cloudy days and days indoors near windows, as UVA passes through glass.
  • Outdoor or holiday use — reapply every two hours without exception.
  • Using retinoids or acids — daily use is not optional; those routines increase photosensitivity.
  • Timeline — protection is immediate once the film has formed; the visible benefits accrue over months and years.

Best suited to

Suits all skin types, particularly oily, combination and deeper skin tones that struggle with the greyish cast mineral sunscreens leave. Anyone who specifically requires a mineral filter should choose a zinc oxide product instead, as this contains none.

Good to know

The published ingredient list contains no fragrance or essential oils. SPF 50+ and PA++++ are Korean testing ratings; European labelling would show SPF 50+ with UVA in a circle. Used at the correct amount, 50 ml lasts roughly six weeks, so rationing it defeats the purpose. Store below 25°C and never leave the tube in a hot car, as heat degrades organic filters. Patch test if you have reacted to chemical sunscreens before, and take care around the eyes, where they can sting.
